Cassidy Coleman
Sometimes I need a dose of quirky fun, so I've been toying around with a new batch of characters. This series is set in the 1920s (anyone else need a break from modern life?), and follows a gal name Cassidy as she travels to England to verify a painting for an eccentric group of people. The great house she finds herself in is home to an impressive collection of antiquities, but when Cassidy gets caught up in a murder investigation, she's terrified her own past will be put on display. Can she finally stop running from her own history?
Right now this story line is for my own sheer pleasure in writing. I love stories where groups work together to solve the unusual, and it gives me something quirky to daydream with when modern life is too heavy. I'm hoping to develop it after I get Glitch Society established. |
Ruby West
I will be totally honest. I wrote Ruby to see if I could write a cozy, and I had more fun than a ten-year-old catapulting rotten eggs. She has a crazy huge family, gets herself into scrapes, and lives right on the water. Ruby was the medicine I needed (oh, yes, the horrible childhood slithering thing from her past really did happen to our family) to help process life.
Further Ruby adventures are on the shelf for a bit though, because I needed to finish Milana and get Glitch Society running. |
